A message dated June 2, 2013, was received stating the Governor read                                                            
the following resolution and is transmitting the engrossed and enrolled                                                         
copies to the Lieutenant Governor's office for permanent filing:                                                                
                                                                                                                                
     HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 2                                                                                          
     Proclaiming the state as a Purple Heart State to honor the service                                                         
     and sacrifice of our nation's men and women in uniform wounded

     or killed by the enemy while serving to protect the freedom
